[2.2] I Cast Magic Missile! - Cantrip's guide to Ethereal Knives / Bladefall. 7K Life, 100K+ DPS!

Since some time has passed in the new league, how is everyone else finding Bladefall as this build so far? Never played no crit EK before, so I can't compare it to that.

It's been working great so far for me, amazing coverage without Inc AoE support, and thanks to Controlled Destruction you get a TON of damage without any sacrifice at all!

Finally, one more question: seeing as Pledge was not as awesome as I hoped (the extra mana was not nearly as much regen as I wanted), it boils down to one handers.

Sceptres: can roll cast speed, bad implicits, let you use Leap Slam (meh) to get Fortify;
Daggers: can't roll cast speed, bad implicits, let you use the amazing Whirling Blades;
Wands: can roll any caster mod, useful implicits, can't really get Fortify up.

DAGGER. No question.
The only question is Dagger and Shield vs. Dagger and Sceptre.

Wait, you can use WB with dagger + scepter? That changes everything!

From a pure dmg point of view, wand > scepter > dagger > shield, so dagger + sceptre sounds awesome. Though getting a non-crit dagger is going to be hard since most people just vendor no crit ones unless it has godly rolls.

So end game armor would be 6L coil vs 6L belly?

I tend to prefer 6L Hyrri's at this point, no matter the spell. Belly is actually not as good since you have a lot of % Life anyway.

Coil has the benefit of being great vs. Reflect and one-shots from Physical, along with Taste of Hate (or the new Flask).

What's an optimal Talisman look like?

breakrib with spell dmg? resists? what else?

Hey, does Doryani's Invitation life leech will works with Bladefall? And is this belt worth to use (no life but beauty resists + 0,2% life leech what with my actual dps (70kdps+ with boost) give good leech?

It works, but only about half your damage is Phys, so it's like 0.1%. Not great. Besides, War Mark and Atziri's Flask grant plenty of Leech.

CwDT with... War Mark. If you even bother with that. Can add Frost Wall if you use Bladefall.

Im following your guide and I just lvled 2 enlighten to lvl 2. My unreserved mana is something like 50-60. My mana regen lets me spam EK, but my EK is lvl 19 and soon will be 20 (mana cost will be higher) and I will be in trouble. Any chance to use 3 aura's without lvl 3 enlighten?
