Permanently disable chat options

Could we get an option to permanently disable global and trade chat?
Or at least only allow those chats to be toggled by specifically clicking the buttons in menu or in the chat box? This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

If you disable the trade/global chats from the chat box (uncheck the boxes), the system remembers it when you log in next time. That way you only ever enter chat when you specifically want to.

I guess (s)he means the accidently toggling on by some key presses.
