elemental proliferation + shocks

how does this work out? im wondering if I add it to my lighting strike will it do the highest shock charge? or will they stack on top of each other?

so say I strike a ton of people down, 3 of them get hit with it, now they radiate the extra damage to everyone else. does everyone get 1 shock charge, or will they have 3 on them?

The way I've heard it, if you shock 3 different mobs right next to each other, the charges will all jump and all 3 will have 3 stacks.
Like there's a short radius for ee, and anytime you apply an elemental effect with an attack, anyone within that radius of the mob will get the effect as well.

can anyone confirm this? would be pretty OP if this is true.

like Im thinking of getting the 2 nodes at the top which increase shock chance by like 20 plus the conductivity debuff giving me about 30%+ shock chance with lightning.

so if i hit a whole group of say 10 people, in an ideal world i'd get about 3 people shocked.

if elemental proliferation is on my lighting strike, that would mean those 3 targets are now emitting shock debuff to all 10 (assuming they're within the aura of it) but the question becomes whos getting how many stacks of shock since it can stack up to 3 times. meaning a bonus of 120% damage.

would it be:
1. all enemies within the aura only gets 1 shock charge (or the amount the shocked enemy has)
2. all enemies within the aura gets 3 shock charges, assuming each enemy is within the 3 shocked units
3. only the shocked enemies will gain extra shock charges on them?

but then he said if you only had 3 and they were all shocked that all 3 would be shocked

but what if I had 10 and only 3 were shocked, will all 10 be shocked (those who didnt get shocked) or will only those 3 have 3 stacks of shock and the 7 will have less? thats what im confused about.

if all 10 will have 3 stacks of shock, then this is a high priority support gem in my eyes.

if not then it becomes lower.

If they're all close enough together than all 10 should get 3 shock stacks.
