Helm:

Bringer of rain works wonders here. I got mine for 1ex. Theres no substitutions for the price.

Shield:




Works amazing. Life defense blocking, cheap and dirty.

Other options are:


Eagis aurora:



Works well, seems to be very consistent versus end game content, and I have decent ES with my normal gear. Getting enough defense is tough tho.

A good rare with high def and life, quick res if you need it.



The weapon:



The Catalyst, the reason this build works for so cheap. 300+ dps, 90+ ele dmg, 1% life leech, cost me 1.5ex. The ele prolif linked with leap slam or counters works well also.

Other options:

A solid rare 1h with 300+ dps will work also.

A good rare sword will give you the option for whirling blades, this is the one I use, I get 21.5k damage with this sword




Gloves:



You need a good pair of vorici gloves, the increased life leech rate is insane. These are an absolute must.

stats you need:

Vorici (35-40% increased life leech rate)
Life
res
defense
attack speed.

Rings:

These can take awhile to find, that will fit the res you need.

Amulet:



Much needed int, mana, and spell block, A good corrupted with block or chaos res works good.

Boots



Mana, spell block, res. Nice boots, the correct colors can take a few stacks though.

Belt:



The verdungo's of poe. Meginords should be the only melee belt your using in 1.3

adds 300+ life, cold res, almost 3k damage, There really are no subs here.

In the BoR

Static strike+ Multi stike+ Ele damage,

Options are:

Life leech with 20% quality, I use this pretty much full time.

Increase fire damage, good for party dps.

Weapon using Catalyst.

Leap slam+ increased attack speed+ ether increased AOE, increased burning damage or increased fire damage.

Or, counter attacks, most builds use them, but I havnt had the need to use them.

Shield,

Allot of options here, I use it for curses. Lowered resist curse is what I use to increase my clear speed.

Most builds use more counter attacks here.

Gloves:

Standard enduring cry, immortal call, cast when damage taken, increased duration.

There are no subs here.

Boots:

I uses auras here, Hatred, HoA, and your choice of HoL or Tempest shield.
