With empowered heralds the icy explosion on a dying frozen mob can chain explode entire packs. Herald of Thunder keeps whole packs frozen with no interaction. Three Dragons isn't needed but makes freezing much higher HP mobs much easier. Berek's Grip isn't needed but is a massive quality of life improvement.

Three dragons makes lightning damage freeze and fire damage shock. Lightning damage causes mobs to explode from herald of ice, causing AoE shocks, causing herald of thunder to go off. Most things get freeze locked. Packs generally explode as soon as one mob in the pack dies.

Very fast to level up with little gear investment. I leveled to 60 solo in 10ish hours with a fencoil and goldrim and only had two deaths by the time I started maps because I never bothered to roll an instant flask for Lunaris 3 and Dominus.

Heralds do not scale with spell damage which is why I'm using sceptres over wands and have taken very few spell damage nodes.

Any reason (other than originality) to use ball lightning over arc ?

Ball lightning does more consistent damage to the thing you're hitting and better single target damage. The high hit rate also procs freeze fairly regularly. Pretty much any spell works, freeze pulse, fireball, ice nova, arctic breath, but some work better than others. Lightning spells just get the added benefit of being able to freeze high HP targets like bosses.

What is about single target? Is is good or you need to spend ages to kill healthy mob? Аccordingly to this, is this build Atziri and uber Atziri viable?

looks fun, you got me thinking that mjolner + three dragons might be pretty nice, have you tried that?

Single target is fairly bad. Would not do Atziri with it.

Besides using a ton of BiS items, should be fairly similar. I considered getting some duration nodes which would be a pretty good quality of life improvement.

Feelings on using 2x Doryani's Catalyst, 160%-200% increased elemental damage decent? Or would the + skills outweigh the the elemental damage?
