Hybrid Phys or Pure Phys
Without going to Vagan, exalting it or any other in-game technique; Is there a way to know if it's a Hybrid Phys or Pure Phys Mod - just by looking at it? From my analysis, the % physical and accuracy mods can either be: A) Prefix + Suffix: Pure Phys and Suffix Accuracy * Local Physical Dmg +% ... iLvl: 23: 70 to 89 (Wicked) * Local Accuracy Rating ... iLvl: 20 : 61 to 100 (of Accuracy) or B) Prefix + Prefix: Pure Phys and Hybrid Phys/Accu * Local Physical Dmg +% / Loc Acc ... iLvl: 23: 35 to 44 / 31 to 50 (Reaver's) * Local Physical Dmg +% ............. iLvl: 1: 20 to 49 (Heavy) * or probably another combination of different tiers Note that the other two mods: 9-17 Cold Dmg - Prefix 32% Crit Multi - Suffix which we can't use as a clue. Based on this, the answer to my question is nope. Right? " This one cannot be: a rare item that you dropped and identified by yourself will allways have 4 mods. Welcome to the greatest of arenas, Duelist. God is watching you.

" Would likely be a rare item with 4 mods, but with 2 having identical effects (so that they stack and together appear only as 1 mod).. so boots with the "magpie's" prefix and "of plunder" suffix would together give the effect of 14-22 IIR (which could potentially be confused with the "of raiding" suffix (11-14 IIR) or "pirate's" prefix (13-18 IIR)) An additional possibility would be having a pure armour (or eva/shield/hybrid mod) mod, and hybrid armmour/stun recovery mod, a pure stun recovery mod and any other affix, again giving the appearance of just 3 mods (combined with the above example these 3 mods could actually be a combination of 5 difference affixes) Another example with weapons - an item with a pure phys % prefix, a hybrid phys %/accuracy prefix, a pure accuracy suffix and any other mod would likewise appear to only have 3 mods when it in fact has 4 For try for see and for know.

Thanks for all the replies. But, would like to bump my question. ^^
The reason I'm asking this is that I am trying to figure out a logic on how to break down a hybrid phys mod with just the given details in poe.trade. This is for the tool I am working on: Forgotten Mods - a tool for augmenting poe.trade experience - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1164052 PoE-TradeMacro - https://github.com/PoE-TradeMacro/POE-TradeMacro/

It has already been answered. It is impossible.
I you want the information, you'll have to convince ggg to flag affixes. |

" Ive had armor and boots with only three mods drop. |

Three lines of text does not necessarily equal three mods. It was explained how upthread.
The answer 'it is impossible' is correct. Unless you personally got the drop (clearly, you won't have given you're putting together a piece of software to look at items), you won't know in some cases whether the item was crafted or dropped and whether the 4-affix-minimum rule applies. |
