You've misunderstood the point he was making. It wasn't unfair that 'he' had to wait so long for a key, but that it was unfair that 'people' (in general) sometimes had to wait a long time.

I DO EVERY MOVE, AND I DO EVERY MOVE HARD, MAKIN' WHOOSHING SOUNDS WHEN I SLAM DOWN SOME ZOMBIES. NOT MANY CAN SAY THEY ESCAPED WRAECLAST'S MOST DANGEROUS DUNGEON. I CAN.
