is the randomizer broken?

I have seen the same names three times now
and I don't check in very often anymore... I know computer generated random, isn't random and "random play" on my mp3 player sucks really bad... but it seems to be stuck in a loop of the same no-show accounts... time to delete them off the list... |

How so? Do GGG sit and pick players and then add them to the timer? |

GGG responded to this very question a week or so ago. They said that if you saw repeat names to pm them. although some names do look very familiar.

"That's cute, thanks. If you see the same names, it's possible that they're just very similar names, your browser has a caching issue, or the timer really did show the same name due to some glitch. I think it's most likely that the OP means he's seeing the same type of inactive account, and he's referring to them collectively. Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.

"It is my understanding that we have specifically coded the timer to make it awarding beta access to someone who's already been chosen impossible. While it is possible it's a bug, it's highly unlikely, and it's also incredibly unlikely that someone would get in three times, simply due to the sheer number of accounts. If you believe you're seeing this bug, then you should let us know what the names in question are and then we can investigate what happened to those accounts. But I am fairly confident at this point you're seeing similar, but not identical names. | |

i kinda wondered the same thing, i thought i seen the same names but, i think it just some guy that, made 100 accounts and there names are close to the same, but there has been times, prob lag on my side were, when i refresh the page the counter dont go down, it goose up like a min or 2 lol, but thats prob lag or something on my side
