Pros:



- insane clearspeed of maps
.. rly insane .. forget mjolner builds n stuff
u oneshot complete packs and if u get a quicksilverflask with surgeons and extra speed
ur just rushing through maps. i managed several maps in less then a minute =)

im running permanently at 100%+ movespeed

- high aoe dmg
the more mobs u hit the higher is the chance ur spells proc .. coldsnap has a very high
chance to feeze them and it deals aoe dmg. arc shocks and deals tons of dmg

- permfreezes everything in group runs
due to coldsnap

- ridiculous cheap (5-6 ex for some great gear to start with)





Cons:


- well .. ele reflec .. even with my atm 3,1k hp and maxxed resistances i die instant if
i hit a ele pack too good :>

- may not be the best build for a "slow" pc


my current witch with this build in torrent (witch had the better fitting gems in questline so i decided to start with her in that league)









the hole idea was to build up a wander with coc
and clear maps as fast as possible ...
the best 2 spells for this are arc and coldsnap
cause they hit instant and dont travel


coldsnap needs powercharges to reset its cooldown (similar to flickerstrike and frenzy charges)
this means we need tons of powercharges
there are 2 usefull ways to get them

Powercharge on crit gem requires another gem to link
voll's protector the perfect choice




i suggest to get diamond rings with resis life (mb also the additional crit craft)
crit crit multi amulett with life/resis/attributes
high attackspeed wand with spell crit multi spellcrit

Imbued wand!!!
- crit as high as u can get (most important cause u want to get critcapped to 95%)
- spell dmg
- crit multi
- spellcrit
- attackspeed

Shield:
- Life/trires/spell/spellcrit/defences
- Saffels (high spellblock/allres/max resistances)
- prism guardian

amu:
- Crit
- crit multi
- spelldmg
- life
- res
- statts could also help to save some passive points (str)

Rings:
- Diamond rings (must have)
- crafted crit chance on it
- life
- resis
- Accuracy (more hits)

Flasks:
i recommend my setup:
2 life flasks with instant reg and the worst debuffs (freze/bleeding corrupted can kill u very fast without a flask against bleeding

1 surgeons quicksilver with additional speed

1 topaz to avoid the ele reflec
1 diamond flask for bosses (way more dmg and if discharging higher chance to get charges again)

Leveling:

In the beginning wanding is .. lets say .. not the fastest/most efficiant idea
I started levling with lightning tendrills getting spellecho/fastercast/lightpen/lifeleech asap

at 40 something i changed from lightning tendrils to arc with a 2c 5linked i traded
i used arc + spellecho + faster cast + light pen + life leech
when i came to bosses i switched to spark cause it makes ridiculous dmg if u stay close to them and shotgunn with all 3 projectiles

when i had most of the crit nods + wand crit + a good crit wand ( imbued with 10+ crit is enough) i switched to coc with
kb + gmp + coc + pcoc + arc

getting maligaros virt + rats nest + 2 fitting diamond rings with resis/life is the next goal

when i had enough currency i bought a 5link volls protector and used

kb + gmp + coc + arc + cold snap

and well it rocks ^^ most of the time im just rushing lower maps .. and yes rushing .. some i get in less then 1 min =) with just 1 shot per pack

my witch in torment is now 82 (tried witch as start and works well also)

Nice video. Makes the build look OP, especially when geared.

not at all .. u just hit once like power siphon and then u can run again =)
