Radeon 6XXX Card Making Game/Pc Freeze

anyone that is not having this problem and using a similar card could you please post your catalyst version?

Omega (Beta) Drivers from Guru3D helped with crashing here.
So Check the Drivers from www.guru3d.com

Note that those are not official drivers, but made the game playable for me.

(My card is 6870)

were you experiencing the same type of crash i was describing? it completely fixed it?

Yup same,I can play everything else just fine.1.07 just dropped,I'm over it anyway

I use a 7970 and had the same problem both when I first started playing and then after the most recent patch. The first time I changed the compatibility mode to match mine (windows 7 64b) and "ran as admin." I'm not sure that was the problem but it seemed to unhitch the game at least.

the second time (after patching) I kept my most recent drivers for CCC (13.XX the beta I believe), went into the game options and reduced filtering down to 2x in both applicable spots, and then turned my shadows to the middle option (right below the highest? I think there are 3 options). Ran like a charm for 2.5 hours no hitches, or crash, or freezes.

Maybe that will help someone until the devs at GGG or another forum user come up with a more permanent solution, or can at least properly identify the cause of the problem.

thanks for the advice man. I have already tried all that and it still crashes, im all for beta testing but quite frankly i cant keep troubleshooting and hard rebooting,this game is cool but not worth messing my pc up over. Until the devs can properly fix it i personally have moved on
