Spell Totem does not use curse on hit

My Setup:
Spell totem,arc,curse on hit,elemental weakness The tooltip says "applies linked curse on hit" Without spell totem it works. Why not with spell totem? A bit confused... What am I missing ? This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

because trigger gems require you to make the hit, not the totem/mine/trap/minion since those are counted as separate entities with their own attacks.
As for the tooltip showing it as applying...well they have never been 100% accurate Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

You have a skill that summons a totem, and curses anything it hits.
If summoning the totem hit anything, it would apply the curse. The totem you summon has a skill that doesn't have curse on hit. Last edited by Mark_GGG#0000 on Sep 25, 2014, 7:45:22 PM
