[1.2.0 - Beyond] Crit ST - Daggers and Evasion (Acrobatics and Ondars)

My version of the dagger, crit, ST and evasion shadow.

The ranger is definitely a stronger start if you plan on using HP till the end of your characters days.

I'm running this build in Hardcore purely solo doing 75 maps without a problem. You can drop some damage nodes for defensive nodes if you wish, there are some easily accessible shield nodes near by.

The build is based around a stronger single spectral with no LMP or GMP making use of Herald of Ash with a prolif linked. I run a GMP spectral for clearing speed in a 4 link. You can swap that out for a strike gem and run LMP or GMP on your 5L/6L spectral. If I was doing group play, I'd buff my AoE spectral in the 5L/6L.

Reflect is not a issue at the moment for my current gem links, you will definitely chunk your HP pool if you run a physical projectile gem instead of faster attacks or power charge on crit.

I'll update this thread further when I get more free time to do so. This is done on the fly well streaming to avoid further !build commands.

Any questions or suggestions, please do leave a post!

Passive Tree

Leveling Passives

When leveling you will definitely run into problems with mana and strength. You'll have to pickup the mana leech nodes and primal spirit rather early or find solutions with gear.

The physical damage nodes near the start of shadow can be swapped with the attack speed nodes at your choice, I currently run the attack speed nodes.

Bandits

Oak in Normal.
Oak in Cruel, you can also take the attack speed if you value it more.
Alira in Merciless.

Gems & Gear

Current Gear

If you feel like you want more damage you can change out faster attacks or power charge on crit (if you choose to change out power charge on crit, you can drop the power charge nodes) for a physical projectile gem, but the attack speed loss is very noticeable.

Depending on the pace of map, without aura nodes and a level 19 reduced I can run both Heralds (ash linked to proliferation) and Grace without issue. If its a wide open map and I want to whirling blades around a bit, I'll drop Herald of Ice for the mana pool.

I am running those leech gloves for the simple fact of I don't have best in slot jewellery yet.

The boots.. are terrible. But you all know how hard it is to get a 4 red pair of evasion boots.

You should also run a rustic sash, I just haven't found one I like that isn't 10,000 exalts on beyond yet.

Old dagger, Bino's is not in the least required, but damn it's amazing.

Flasks

The topaz flask I swap-out with the necessary flask for the job. One thing I need to acquire is a burn flask, getting crit with fire can be very deadly. You also may choose to run jades instead of granites. I like the granites for helping deal with reflect with ondars.

Stats

These stats are based on my current items and passive tree, obviously.

Defensive

HP Pool: 4926
Evasion Rating: 13019
Evasion Chance: 52%
Dodge: 40%
Spell Dodge: 30%
Block: 30%
Stun Avoidance: 30%
Stun Recovery: 45%
Movement Speed: 29%
Status Avoidance: 8%

Offensive

81.6% Crit
510% Crit Multiplier for main Spectral
11,399.1 on tooltip for main Spectral
3515.4 on tooltip for GMP Spectral
85% Chance to Hit

You can safely take your spectral DPS and x 1.5 or 2.0 for a target that you are bouncing back on.

Surprised no one has commented, testing your build on Beyond... It's working well strong build, thanks

A few questions on your build, because I'm running something similar (but on Rampage league, and only at lvl 70 right now)

1) What's the reason behind not taking any shield block nodes? I'm finding right now that even with Ondar's/Acrobatics and about a 50% chance to evade, I still run into survivability problems. I ended up taking the Deflection cluster of nodes, and Precise Interruption (and soon Weapon Artistry). With a golden buckler, I'm running 44% block chance, and I was even considering going for the Wall of Thorns wheel to get that higher.

2) With the diminishing returns on Evasion, is Grace really worth it over Hatred and some shield block nodes? I assume you put Herald of Ice instead of Hatred because of the lower mana reservation. What are your thoughts on Hatred+Herald of Ash and leaving a third aura free for one of the purities or Herald of Ice as well?

3) Would it be fair to say in your passive tree, you are prioritizing attack speed over crit chance/multipliers? I would have expected taking the node clusters for Depth Perception and Heartseeker for more crit since they're right there, rather than extending yourself for the Fencing and Quickstep wheels.

4) What are your thoughts on BM + Clarity + Reduced Mana to solve mana issues? If Clarity is only taken up to about lvl 8, the HP loss isn't too much and it seems to solve my mana issues when running Hatred/Herald of Ash. Would it also be worth it to replace EE with Increased Burning Damage for Herald of Ash, which would lower the mana reserved?

This is my current passive tree at lvl 70, and I took the same bandits as you did.

My main problems right now are my life pool is a bit low (2700 hps in Merc on lvl 67-69 maps), so I'm considering respeccing a few things to get additional life nodes. I'm also running ST + LMP + Physical Projectile + Power Charge on Crit (and soon to add in LGoH when I save up for a 5-slot), but I like what you've done with two separate ST setups and may switch to that.

Just curious on your thoughts because this is the first build I've run that relies on evade/dodge instead of armor. One-shots (like the boss in the Orchard Map) are still my main roadblock.
