Dual Searing Bond Marauder: Basic leveling spec.

The idea behind this spec is to level quickly and safely with absolutely no good gear or currency. This build is perfect for a new league or for your first HC character. I used to this spec to level my dual client MF alt.

At level 1, take Ground Slam. Level with Ground Slam and a 2-hander. Rush to Resolute Technique on your passive tree like this:

Level 14:

Pick up Leap Slam off Brutus for mobility.

Pick up Added Fire Damage from Merveil quest to add damage to your Ground Slam.

You want to acquire a 3 socket sceptre with +1 to fire, lightning or cold. Simply vendor the sceptre with an alteration and ruby ring to change a +1 lightning or cold sceptre to fire.

From the Act 2 quest Intruders in Black, take Flammability. We will use this later with Searing Bond to increase our dps.

From the Act 3 quest Lost in Love, take Searing Bond. Use it while ground slamming and start using dual totem as soon as you have a +1 fire sceptre.

We switch to dual totem and Blood Magic by now, running Searing Bond in a +1 fire Sceptre.

From the Act 3 quest Sever the Right Hand take Minion and Totem Elemental Resistance. Link it to your Searing Bond to make it tougher.

Level 35:

From Act 1 Cruel Mercy Mission take Increased Burning Damage. Link it to your Searing Bond to greatly increase your dps.

This is all you need to level safe, fast and effectively all the way to the end of Merciless. You have a ton of life, high damage and really only need a +1 sceptre (no good gear or currency needed). Perfect for a simple but effective first character or to level a MF alt.

Any chance at getting a 1.3 update for this spec? I used it once in rampage and it worked ridiculously well, wanna do it again but can't figure out what I'd do with the tree.
