Doomfletch help needed.




The bow says that "Gain 110% of bow physical damage as extra damage of an element"

Bow has 11-42damage and 1,56speed which equals to = 41,34dps and then it adds the 110% of some elemental damage. This is correct if im not mistaken.

Example

Bow has 41,34 pdps and 45,47 edps then i take 100% increased physical damage from tree.

Will it be

82,68 pdps and 90,94 edps

OR

82,68 pdps and 45,47 edps still.


if its the first one then i might try to make phys crit build with the bow which adds elemental damage also to the crits.

The first one. Bow works like elemental hit skill, but unlike elemental hit it scales off physical. It could probably be built like pillar of caged god or facebreaker, a lot of flat physical damage items like abyssus or meginord and it should work.

However, if you want to take it up to eleven with that bow you probably also want to use flat elemental auras so taking projectile damage over physical damage would be a better approach.

Note that tooltip will show just the original bow damage.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

If thats the case then my pre planned tree makes that bow viable.

any improvements anyone can think of? auras would be grace and something.

links would be split arrow+weapon elemental+crit dmg+physical projectile dmg+faster attacks

Not necessarily - you could go for Elemental Equilibrium, in which case you want no elemental damage whatsoever from any other source.
