It ssems KB coc builds have been killed by this ninja nerf yeah, but self cast frost wall is very useful to kill bosses as it still creates explosions on the wall when it pierces and and when it doesn't pierce as well

@IIA7XII : I would recommend leveling with another build, either a life based wander with a twyzel or just whatever build that can get you to wear your 6L shavs etc. Also, don't start this build if you don't have / can't afford at least a 6L shavs and a crown of eyes. deally at least have a mirrored wand as well.

I don't know why everyone still goes with Pierce. From what I've seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wxy_cdkUCFg there aren't a noticable amount of explosions anymore and I would suggest swapping the Pierce gem with e.g. PPAD to increase the damage?


Have not skilled my Wander yet.
Need another ~150 Fusings to 6L my selffound Shavs. I have Maligaro, Rainbowstride and soon an Auxium, but rest is at best mediocre. Found recently my first Enlighten (so still Lvl 1) and in order to run that many Auras I really have to wear Alpha's Howl. Due to US I will lose all my EV and my Equip lacks on ES.

Is Crown of Eyes actually needed or just an DPS upgrade with decent ES? Cause otherwise I lose several Auras and way more DPS and have to wait until I have at least 2 Lvl3/4 Enlighten...

COE is for dps but also for leech, it helps quite a bit. Maybe use a prism guardian instead of alpha's howl? In 2.0 it has been buffed and it's quite good, it would allow you to run COE and therefore easily stack spell damage on jewels to provide a lot of dps.

On the subject of pierce with KB, I just tried without pierce and it feels really weak. Keep in mind the video shows the interaction with frost wall, not with actual mobs being pierced. It may very well be only frost walls that have been changed in 2.0 and they do not proc KB explosions anymore. For this build, it is not a problem as forst wall is only used for map bosses as a way of creating explosions by hitting a solid object, not actually by piercing it.
