Unintentional Vaal Area Hideout Bug?

Hey,

I posted this on reddit, and now here.

TLDW: We cannot TP back to town while in a Vaal Area when entering from the hideout. But in the regular laboratory we can.

I had a similar problem, but was using a portal gem and no text appeared. I would do the cast animation then nothing would happen

Edit: I also found a Cartographer's box in a vaal area I opened from my hideout, and when a killed the monsters it openned and no items came out.

I've found one, possibly two empty strongboxes in the past. I don't know if we know that this is a bug, or if it is intentional that strongboxes might be empty.

Unless of course you rolled it with +8 items.

I got a box of gems a couple of days ago with a big + number (mod was already extant). The next one I encountered I swore I'd use orbs to get something similar. I used orbs on it until I got +50% items. The result was 3 gems. Moral of the story; go for + item count, not + percentage.
