Why... can't we copy text from chat window? -__-

So, why can't we copy text from in-game chat window? A friend posted some links in chat, and I can't find a way to copy the text. I have to manually alt-tab and enter each letter of the URL 1 by 1.
Wouldn't this be a simple function to implement? Cuz thare chat system is garbage from 1999 . I REALLY wish they would get a proper chat system ( look to EvE online to learn how to do it right GGG )
I was hopeing with this new UI that they would have a new chat system with it but no luck :( Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

" Agreed. Here's some workaround: If you want to search for text particles, open <PoE install dir>\logs\Client.txt (plain text file) in an editor. Not sure about the logging itself though. If you keep the file open, you probably won't see "live logging". You'll have to reopen the file, if you want to search for new text. Hope this helps. Mischief, Mayhem, Mojo
